Synopsis:
Mama Adama Camara is an African dancer who has being living in Europe now for about twenty years. People call her “MamAfrica” and before emigrating, she danced for more than fifteen years in the most important national Ballet of the Guinea’s Republic and performed in tours all over the world. Every year she goes back to her homeland for a few months taking care of her big family of which she’ s in charge of. Her artistic career is narrated by her personal memories and some big artists with who she had collaborated during her career; Her daily life is showed through its normal development inside her domestic life, her social-work environment. During her stay there, she will be joined by her European pupils that will stay in Guinea for two weeks to study with her the traditional African dance.

Synopsis:
Mama Adama Camara est un danseuse Africaine installée en Europe maintenant depuis vingt ans. Elle est connue sous le nom de ‘MamAfrica’ et avant son émigration en Belgique elle a dansé pendant plus de 15 années dans le ballet national le plus important de la République de Guinée, Les Ballets Africaines, se produisant en tournée dans le monde entier. Chaque année elle revient sur sa terre natale pour y passer quelque mois pour retrouvert la grande famille dont elle est le chef. Sa carrière artistique est racontée à travers son récit et celui des grands artistes avec lesquels elle a collaboré au cours des années;
Son quotidien est raconté à travers des scènes de vie de tous les jours, dans son contexte familial, professionel et social. Durant son séjour elle sera rejointe par ses élèves européens qui passeront deux semaines en Guinée afin d’étudier avec elle la danse traditionelle africaine.

Mama Adama Camara é una ballerina Africana trapiantata in Europa ormai da vent’anni. E’ chiamata MamaAfrica’ e prima di emigrare ha ballato per più di 15 anni con il più importante Balletto Nazionale della Repubblica di Guinea, Les Ballet Africaines, facendo tourné in tutto il mondo. Ogni anno torna nella sua terra per trascorrere li qualche mese amministrando direttamente la grande famiglia di cui è a capo. La sua carriera artistica è narrata attraverso il suo racconto e quello dei grandi artisti con i quali ha collaborato nel corso degli anni; la sua quotidianità è raccontata attraverso il suo normale svolgimento, all’interno del suo contesto familiare, lavorativo e sociale. Durante la sua permanenza verrà raggiunta dai suoi allievi europei che trascorreranno in Guinea due settimane per studiare con lei la danza tradizionale africana.
